We use either Australia Post or TNT. It depends on a few different factors. Smaller parcels are always sent Australia Post (unless they are very heavy when TNT is a better option). Parcels over a metre long are usually sent TNT. This also varies as far North Queensland, NT and WA can be very expensive so I consider the options.

The service from both Australia Post and TNT is similar, but Australia Post does tend to take longer. Tracking can be provided for both. Australia Post will usually ’card’ your delivery for pick up from your local Post Office. You need to be home/at work for TNT or leave them a signed authority to leave the parcel. This can be a hassle so most people prefer Australia Post just for this reason.

Special requests – people often leave me a note on their order saying ’please leave on ’verandah’. I can put it on the order, but it is up to the freight company whether they will do it or not.

Packing and shipping frames can be challenging. We do the best we can, and fortunately damage is pretty rare.
