Frames make great gifts anytime, but sometimes a quirky or eclectic gift might be what you are looking for. My artistic talents are limited to making simple frames, and perhaps putting in fence posts on the farm. I do however have friends and family who are amazing artists, so from time to time, I thought it would be good to share a few of their works here and have them available for sale.
Felted jewelry (below) made in Ballarat by a friend who spent several years teaching local midwives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She continued her love of felting whilst there, and brought back many hand made beads. Each necklace is a one-off. They vary but include (some or all of) silver, Ethiopian beads, fine merino, alpaca and silk. Each bead has been hand dyed and they are strung on Tiger Tail thread, commonly used for gemstones. Despite the wonderful modeling by one of my beautiful (if reluctant) daughters, the colours are brighter and more vibrant in real life. Include the voucher code addis at the checkout, then click refresh so you are not charged freight on the necklaces. This page will be an ongoing work in progress as framing takes most of my time so please just use the contact page if you have any questions.
